This installation explores the ideals of fate. That fate can change someone's life through their circumstances, a moment in time and or a choice chosen by them, or by someone else for them.
Fate is like a shadow who waits for the right moment to pull someone's life strings in one or more directions, Fate is messy.
For some Fate does not come, they wait their entire lives for Fate. Others are chosen by Fate, they either take control of Fate or let Fate consume them.
Fate is a series of still and live images of an installation that consist of a black room - Photos of a woman (artist) in different scenarios are placed on the wall (portraying possible difference fates one might have). In front is a table and chair warped in many different blue fabrics and string. String from the chair and table are connected to the photos. Fate is humanoid working or hardly working. This woman is first consumed by Fate and then is able to take control of her Fate.
